On a site chosen for its transcendent views of the lake and the facing mountain ranges, a holiday home calling for a 'Queenstown look and feel' was created for a family who wanted a resort experience at home.
The home enjoys views of Walter Peak to the left and Cecil Peak to the right, as well as the TSS Earnslaw steamboat that travels across the water three times a day.

A sculpture of a hawk was commissioned to preside over the property, giving it its name 'Hawk's Nest'.
