The advantage of using a Bestwood NZ Native veneer such as Rimu is that it can be tracked back to its origin with a special code that is provided on purchase. The code can be entered into the Track My Tree database on the Bestwood website to show the tree it came from, its location and a permit from MPI to prove it has been sustainably sourced.
