It's not often that a scullery becomes the hero of a kitchen, but designer Leanne Harley has turned an awkward angled working space, into the star of the show.
Along with the statement scullery is the angled island bench, positioned in line with the suspended ceiling. This angled island helps disguise the unconventional shape of the open scullery.
To fit the brief of an industrial, organic kitchen fit for family use, materials including stainless steel benchtops and appliances, a dark textured stone benchtop and custom steel frames were chosen. Easy to clean and robust materials were also important to consider resulting in Prime Laminate in Devious Soft-Matt being chosen for the cabinetry surface, which fits with the industrial feel while also being a durable and easy to clean surface.
