It’s hard to know with certainty whether colours, textures, and designs will truly work in your home. A personalised in-studio consultation takes the guesswork out of the equation. By seeing and feeling the products firsthand, you can confidently choose pieces that will not only complement your space but also imbue it with a sense of personal style and welcoming comfort. You can be reassured that the textures, colours, and scale will come together beautifully, allowing you to create a space that truly feels like your own—a place that reflects your personal vision.
We sat down with Bren Sutton, founder of Ink & Brayer, to discuss the recent launch of the brand's first in-studio experience and what it means for those looking to refine their interiors. Stepping into the world of Ink & Brayer is now a tangible experience. With a deep passion for textiles and design, Bren shared how this new space allows clients to explore and engage with the high-quality rugs, cushions, throws, and other soft furnishings the brand offers, ensuring every selection is a perfect fit for their home.

Ink & Brayer began as an online-only business, but with a personal approach that set it apart—offering one-on-one support via phone, email and Zoom, as well as sending samples directly to customers’ doors. While this level of service has been key to the business’s success, there has always been strong demand for a space where clients can experience products firsthand. The new design studio provides exactly that, along with the opportunity to explore a much wider range of options than what's available online. Customers now have the added benefit of considering a variety of possibilities in one place, eliminating the need to visit multiple showrooms. With an expanded selection, the studio makes it easier than ever to compare textures, colours and styles in person. “We wanted to create an environment where people could truly experience the craftsmanship behind each piece,” Bren explains. “Textiles are incredibly tactile, and having a space where clients can see and feel the quality firsthand makes all the difference.”
More than just a space to view products, the studio is designed to simplify the selection process. Clients can bring in their own fabric, paint or flooring samples to see how everything comes together or explore the extensive range of samples Bren has on hand. This interactive approach ensures every choice is made with confidence, taking into account important factors that might otherwise be overlooked. Working with Bren allows clients to consider not only aesthetics but also practicality, helping them make selections that feel both inspired and well thought out. “It’s about creating confidence in selection,” she says. “When you see a piece in person, you can better visualise how it will integrate into your home, how it feels underfoot and how its colours shift in different lighting."
The new studio marks a significant milestone for founder Bren Sutton, who has long been passionate about bringing high-quality textiles and handcrafted design to discerning homeowners. The space offers a more immersive way for clients to explore the depth and artistry of Ink & Brayer’s collections, making the process of selecting the perfect piece more personal than ever.
For those looking to create a home that feels both beautiful and considered, it’s an opportunity to slow down, engage with artistry and discover pieces that truly resonate. Whether it’s the luxurious weave of a hand-knotted rug or the tactile nature of a textured fabric, there’s something about experiencing these details in real life that transforms the process of home styling into something truly special. “We’re here to help people find pieces they’ll love for years to come,” Bren adds. “Quality design isn’t about trends; it’s about timeless appeal and emotional connection.”
Visits to the Ink & Brayer studio are by appointment, allowing each guest the opportunity to explore without interruption. Whether stopping by for a quick look or seeking a more in-depth consultation, booking a time is simple and flexible. Since Bren and the team are often in and out or busy with other projects, scheduling a visit via Calendly or getting in touch using the form below is recommended.
