Less trend. More intention.

Lighting doesn’t always change loudly. Often, it evolves through quieter decisions like softer materials, warmer tones, and a growing focus on how spaces are actually lived in. Less trend. More intention.

MATERIALS

There’s a growing preference for materials that soften light rather than reflect it. Think alabaster, fabric and opal glass introducing texture, warmth and a quieter kind of presence.

WARMER COLOURS

Warmer colour temperatures are being used with greater intent, often paired with dimming and automation systems to create spaces that feel comfortable throughout the day and into the evening.

OUTDOOR LIGHTING AS ARCHITECTURE

Rather than just adding light once a space is finished, outdoor lighting is being integrated earlier in the design process, used to articulate structure, rhythm and proportion.

LAYERED LIGHTING

The adoption of layered lighting is growing, resulting in fewer statement pieces and a more holistic approach to creating spaces that feel balanced, flexible and lived-in.
