FSA FIRECOAT Exterior is water-based, halogen-free intumescent paint for fire protection of Weathertex cladding.

FIRECOAT Exterior should be used with a compatible topcoat and can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray.

FIRECOAT is only applicable to Weathertex primed products – not suitable for Natural.

Key Features:

  • FIRECOAT Exterior is light grey.
  • It is recommended to paint over FIRECOAT Exterior with your choice of topcoat to improve durability.
  • Recoat time at least 4-6 hours between coats of FSA FIRECOAT Exterior and at least 12 hours before applying topcoat.
  • Clean up with water.
  • Will last at least 10 years.
  • FIRECOAT was developed in Australia, is made in Australia, and is Australian owned.
  • Certified to Australian and International Standards.


Application:

Can be applied by brush, Roller or Airless Spray. For BAL-29performance on Weathertex apply 3 coats using a 20mm or greater nap roller to achieve the required 1.0mm DFT.
