Following on from our Atawhai new build, which won a silver award at the Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards 2016, this Ridgeview Road property also impressed the judges, taking out a gold accolade at the prestigious annual awards.

Simplicity and privacy are the key words to describe this design. The house is a cedar clad box with a low exterior profile and the front walls of glass are framed for privacy of aspect.

The overhanging ledges keep out the summer heat and define the rural views from the expansive kitchen, dining and living areas, as well as from each of the three bedrooms.

Polished concrete floors provide total warmth and comfort throughout the house in winter, delivered by the hot water in-floor heating.

The simplicity of the structure, along with a well planned interior, allows seamless connections to superbly sheltered outdoor living areas, providing the owners with fabulous indoor/outdoor flow for entertaining all year round.
