No longer are hot tubs limited in variety – the options available today mean you can find the right one for your home that’s both stylish and easy to maintain. Not to mention, they’re perfect for when the mercury drops...

Cedar-clad hot tubs and spas are without a doubt a popular choice in New Zealand, but when it came time for Stoked Stainless to introduce its hot tubs and spas, the company went a step further.

Stainless steel and cedar are two durable materials, and wanting to ensure the hot tubs made by Stoked Stainless would remain hygienic and easy to maintain, while also delivering on comfort levels, the company’s director Dan Young and his business partner came up with the innovative design.

“What sets our designs apart is the stainless steel inner,” says Dan, explaining that the combination of these two quality materials means the products are designed to last a lifetime. “It’s what sets them apart – they don’t shrink or leak, and they’re really easy to clean.”

Handcrafted in Wānaka by a qualified, experienced team with a commitment to quality, the variety of luxurious hot tubs, spa pools, plunge pools and bathtubs by Stoked Stainless mean there is an option for every home.

Bigger and better

The latest addition to the Stoked Stainless collection is its 2.2m diameter spa pool – the largest in the spa collection.

Ergonomically designed, the tub can comfortably seat up to nine people, with the water temperature and eight massage jets powered, monitored, and controlled electronically by the touchpad conveniently located on the side of the tub.

“No matter where you sit, you can sink into the water and allow the therapeutic action of the massive massage jets to help you relax and relieve any stress and tension,” says Dan.

The stainless steel and cedar design means that it will look just as good in 10 years as it does the first time you turn it on.

Effortless control

The chosen water temperature and jet pressure can be maintained for as long as you need, while there’s no need to worry about operation costs – the spa function can be programmed to heat during certain times of the day to make the most of off-peak times, or use it in conjunction with solar power.

Best of all? This can all be controlled by the touch of a button on your phone thanks to remote WiFi access.

Easy, eco-friendly maintenance

Despite being a larger spa pool, the 2.2m diameter option is as easy to maintain as the rest of the Stoked Stainless range.

“The spa pool is designed for mineral water treatment. You don’t need environmentally harmful chemicals to clean or maintain the pools. But as with any spa – no matter what brand you buy – you do need to treat the water with something. We try to steer people away from chlorine and there is another product that can be used,” says Dan, with this being Simplesilver.

“This means that you’re not just caring for yourself, but for the earth as well.”

A beautiful, sustainable addition to any home that can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space it is used in, a spa pool from Stoked Stainless will also stand the test of time: “The stainless steel and cedar design means that it will look just as good in 10 years as it does the first time you turn it on.”

If you’re looking for a spa pool – or a hot tub, bathtub or plunge pool – to enjoy all year round at your home, explore the options available from Stoked Stainless.
