Trespa Meteon and Profix PXF cladding systems create tomorrow’s schools

Profix PXF screw fixed flat panel façade system is a 35mm timber cavity batten system specifically designed for use with Trespa Meteon panels. Profix PXF and Trespa Meteon panels make it easy to create stunning, low maintenance facades while ensuring simple installations in a timely manner.

The Ministry of Education have found using Profix PXF a perfect fit, with a high-quality product which is robust, durable, graffiti resistant and cost effective ensuring that today’s vision will remain tomorrows reality.

Profix PXF and Trespa Meteon Panels have been specified on many school projects including Saint Pauls College, Saint Kentigern’s College, Te Kura Maori o Nga tapuwae, Hornby High School, Kaiapoi High School, Hingaia Peninsula School, Palmerston North Boys High School, Napier Girls High School, and Clayton Park Primary School.

North Canterbury School Projects, which comprised of Ashgrove, Oxford, Rangiora and Southbrook Schools utilised Profix PXF with Trespa’s extensive colour and finishes range specifying over 18 different colours to create bold, bright and inviting new learning environments.

Utilising tonal variation, the different colours were spread across the school with multiple hues of the same primary colour on each building making each one easily identifiable & unique. Trespa’s wide range of colours, finishes and effects, with over 150 different colours, from Uni-colours, Metallic’s, Naturals and Wood Decors mean Trespa can fit within, play off or enhance any colour scheme.

Profix PXF is tested and compliant with the requirements of NZBC sections B1 Structure, B2 Durability and E2 External Moisture. Profix PXF is suitable for use as a cladding solution on new builds or cladding upgrades.  It is an easily installed system requiring only a clean down on completion of install as the pre-finished panel means there is no further painting required and scaffolding can be dropped once the panels have been installed.
