HR Manager and People & Culture

The Role

We are looking for a PRO who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has an infectious, positive can-do attitude.  You will be exceptionally ambitious, motivated and driven to meet your day-to-day deadlines. This role requires someone who is approachable and loves to help and impact other team members' jobs. You will have a variety of responsibilities in all aspects of people management, ensuring their experience at ArchiPro is the best one out there.  

You’ll have experience in a start-up or high-growth context and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.  We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running at a time when we are on the cusp of significant growth. 

To truly enjoy this role and be successful in it you will need to have solid work experience in an HR Management role, along with relevant tertiary qualifications.  You will need to be a confident problem solver and calm under pressure, as you will often be the voice of reason that people seek.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, retention, reward, well-being, engagement, learning and development.
  • Responsible for all Human Resource-related matters including employment agreements, position descriptions, performance reviews, Visa application correspondence, legal compliance.
  • Provide support and advice to senior managers in HR-related areas in order to achieve overall business performance targets and manage risks.
  • Provide support and coaching to team leads, upskilling them in their leadership positions in order to support their team and foster growth. 
  • Motivate and foster strong working relationships with both the leadership team and operations.
  • Develop and maintain a cutting-edge, highly personalised learning model for all our employees, that combines tools for on-the-job learning and feedback with a range of diverse, engaging and easily accessible learning resources.
  • Create and practice a strategy for succession planning across the organisation.
  • Take ownership for driving the internal team culture, including team activities, monthly leadership updates, company perks, and monitoring and maintaining team morale.
  • Encourage and continually demonstrate our company values. 
  • Provide a world class onboarding experience to all new team members joining the business.
  • Working with marketing, create and execute a strategy to build our brand reputation in the market as the best place to work to aid in recruitment.
  • Develop and deliver a people and culture plan and policies to support the organisation's strategic plan each financial year.
  • Drive adoption of the company’s engagement and performance platform.  


Skills and Experience 

  • 5+ years experience in generalist HR and the full employee life cycle
  • Experience setting up HR policies, systems and frameworks
  • In depth experience in dealing with ER matters first hand
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching and supporting leaders 
  • Professional, interactive communication, both verbal and written
  • Well presented, self-motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work accurately under time pressures
  • A passion for your work, and alignment with our organisational mission and values
  • An empathetic, people-first approach
  • Computer literacy in digital platforms
