AGGLam® Balustrade are custom made Laminated Glass options for Balustrade application that consist of 2 pieces of clear glass manufactured as one unit with a middle interlayer that is usually thicker than standard laminates and acts as a strong adhesion against penetration, remaining in place and safe if the glass breaks.
With a clear interlayer and using clear glass, high Clarity allows a clean view through the glass and high Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) that optimises natural light passing through. When a Coloured aesthetic and/or more Solar Control is needed (lower SHGC), there are tinted options.
AGG can custom make your laminated Balustrade to suite your needs. If no handrails are desired to optimise your view, see our AGGLam Structural – SkyGlass offering using Clear glass or AGGLam Structural – SkyGlass Ultra offering using low iron.
Note: all use of AGGLam® Balustrades should be checked for compliance to the National Construction Code (NCC) and all relevant AS Standards, including fittings. We offer full Engineer design and sign-off service in-house. Requests can be emailed to: technical@agg.com.au
