Hard Wired Motors
The ideal solution for providing continual power to your shades. The ideal solution when establishing electrical wiring during a renovation or a new build.  These motors can pull up to 12Kg so you can be sure they will work for your chosen configuration.  This is a great ’Set and forget” solution.

Battery-Powered Motors
Zero Li-ion Series Ultra-quiet, rechargeable, battery-powered. The Wire-Free motor is perfect for small to medium shade applications. This series of rechargeable, lithium-ion battery motors are completely wire-free and invisible to the untrained eye. The Zero Li-ion Series can be retrofit onto existing smaller rollers from 580mm widths up to medium-sized 3 metre wide applications, and even longer when used in conjunction with a linking solution.

Push Series Remote
The Automate Push series fuses luxury and functionality in a well-crafted, durable design. The 5 and 15 Channel remote is available in two premium finishes – gloss white and Matte Black.  Featuring tactile easy button control, lighting up at the press, while also offering favourite position and group channel options.

Pulse 2 App
The pulse 2 App has been designed to embrace the architecture of a home and provide effortless control of Automate motorised shades. Easily personalise the daily routine of shades; organising them by room, grouping them by scenes and automating them with timers. Unlock the convenience of smart shade operation. Works in conjunction with the new Pulse 2.

Pulse 2 Hub
The Automate Pules 2 Hub is the foundation of your smart shades motorisation system. Alongside the pules 2 App, the Pulse 2 Hub enables operation and automation of all arc (Automate Radio Communication) enables motors so you can experience the convenient shade control straight from your smart device.  The Pulse 2 Hub integrates with a variety of smart home platforms so you can take full advantage of customised automation and voice activation when operating your shades.

Our Story
James Dunlop Textiles was founded in 1907 in the bustling port of Dunedin, New Zealand as a supplier of European fabric to retailers. From a dynasty of Freemen and textile merchants based in the Scottish countryside close to the border of Northern England, a commitment to quality design and performance ensured longevity for company and product alike.

Over a century later, the fourth generation Dunlop family governs this innovative design-based organisation across the Asia- Pacific region. With a strong focus on sustainable textile excellence, coupled with world-class logistics and service, the company enjoys industry accolades and support from a wide base of global retail and interior design customers.

Design Studios
James Dunlop Textiles has three design studios – Sydney, Auckland & Melbourne. By virtue of their locations, these studios have important access to two of our key markets and the ability to explore and forecast design trends.

Bursting with creativity, the studios and their team's research, develop and customise fabric and wallpaper from conception to market entry. Their ability to work with international suppliers and view textiles within the greater design context provides an essential service to the company and our customers.

At James Dunlop Textiles we are interested in different ways of living. We’re constantly exploring what fabric can bring to people’s life. We view the world through a uniquely Australasian lens, so in designing and curating our collections we look both outwards and inwards.

Being on-trend is compulsory, but as important to us is being relevant to the environmental and situational usage that our fabrics will be exposed to. Whether it Christchurch, Canberra or California, our textiles have been purposely designed to perform and look great.
