Basket of Light
Basket of Light by David Trubridge are inspired by a M?ori creation myth. These hanging lights are made from Finnish birch plywood, a material thin enough to allow light to pass through. It is also a sustainably managed resource which is converted to ply with minimal waste. Ideal as a decorative light piece in commercial spaces.

Basket of Light are available in three versions: Leaf, reminiscent of the staggered leaves from a Lancewood, a tree native to New Zealand; Crystal, a more angular pattern reminiscent of ice formations or crystal rock forms; Wave Basket has a flowing shape element reminiscent or flowing water or sine waves. Each of the baskets cast intricate shadows downwards, the spread and focus of which can be adjusted by hanging height.
