Precision hardware for architectural sashless windows

CiiLOCK’s Sashless Window System is a coordinated hardware solution for vertically sliding sashless windows, combining clean architectural sightlines with smooth, counterbalanced operation. Unlike a conventional double-hung window, the moving glass can be designed without a visible sash frame surrounding each pane. The result is an operable window that retains much of the visual simplicity of fixed glazing while providing generous natural ventilation.

CiiLOCK provides the specialised motion, locking and operating hardware that makes the system function. CiiLOCK sash pulleys guide the counterbalance system and allow the glass panels to travel smoothly vertically. By counteracting much of the weight of the glass, the system allows comparatively large panes to be opened and positioned with significantly less effort than their actual mass would suggest. The result is the familiar functionality of a double-hung window without the prominent sash rails and framing normally surrounding the operable glass.

The Hardware Behind the Glass

The simplicity of a sashless window relies on a small number of specialised components working together. CiiLOCK combines counterbalance pulleys, discreet locking and operating hardware to create smooth vertical movement while keeping visible hardware to a minimum.

At CiiLOCK Engineering, we believe great architecture should never be limited by hardware. Based in Hallam, Victoria, we design and engineer innovative hardware and component solutions for architectural openings, working with architects, designers and fabricators across Australia and beyond.

CiiLOCK Engineering specialises in custom architectural hardware and high-performance door hardware solutions designed to overcome the challenges of complex and demanding architectural openings. From bespoke hardware and locking solutions to advanced roller systems, we approach every project with precision engineering, creative problem-solving and a focus on delivering solutions where conventional hardware may fall short. Our aim is simple: to make what was once difficult, impractical or impossible possible.

Our commitment to innovation has led to the development of the TITAN Bonded Collection, featuring advanced flush-glazed bonded sash technology that changes the relationship between glass and frame. By bonding the glass to the external edge of the aluminium sash, the solution creates a cleaner, slimmer aesthetic with greater visual continuity and more uninterrupted views. Importantly, the TITAN Bonded Sash is available as a component for compatible window and door systems, giving fabricators and system designers the flexibility to develop their own frames, configurations, hardware and finishes around it.

At CiiLOCK, we believe the best architectural solutions come from freedom of design and engineering without compromise. Our growing range of specialist technologies, including custom hardware, locking solutions and advanced roller systems, is developed to give architects and designers greater choice when specifying bifold doors, sliding doors, flush-glazed doors and bespoke architectural openings. By combining innovative thinking, precision engineering and a willingness to challenge conventional solutions, CiiLOCK Engineering continues to push the industry forward - creating possibilities where others don't.
