Native to NZ. A very hardy, fast-growing medium shrub with colourful green-cocoa brown glossy foliage. A great addition of colour to the garden. Prefers full sun to semi-shade. Tolerates dry, wind and coastal conditions. Intolerant of wet feet. Evergreen.
