The Momentum HD Preamplifier builds on the award-winning platform of the Momentum Preamplifier. The HD status represents the high dynamic and high definition improvements that have been achieved in this substantial upgrade. The initial concept for the Momentum HD input circuitry enhancements started as an engineering exercise that resulted in performance improvements that drove a full development effort. The result is the Momentum HD Preamplifier. Beyond the input stage, the new Momentum HD Preamplifier incorporates advancements in the power supply, audio circuitry, and control sections. Voices are rendered with a lushness and richness that was simply unattainable previously. Dynamic content effortlessly bursts forth with a startling energy reminiscent of live music. .

The business owner John Tom first started with the company in 1987 while completing a Bachelor of Property degree at Auckland University. Although John worked in the Property field for a short time, his love and passion for music and HiFi brought him back to Paulmoney HiFi where he eventually bought out the company in 2005.

The focus for John is on high-end quality products that we usually see from countries such as Canada, Germany, Denmark and the US.
