Established in 1961, SvenskaKJ was the first wholesale supplier in Australia to specialise in commercial upholstery and furnishing textiles. The combination of our strong technical knowledge and commitment to high levels of service, including short lead times, is central to our success and longevity.

We’re not Australia’s largest and we have no need to be. Our size allows us to be highly flexible and accessible and to offer superior advice and service. Some of our first clients are still working with us today – 60 years on – which is testimony to our strong focus on ethics, relationships and solving specification challenges.

Since 1961, the company has hand-picked only the highest quality fabrics from leading mills in Australia, Europe and the US.

SvenskaKJ select textile ranges for their design aesthetics, functionality, durability and comfort. We have an extensive range of colours and textures that are timeless as well as innovative and unique.

SvenskaKJ currently supplies textiles from a number of renowned companies including DePloeg, Continental Skai Vinyl, EnviroLeather and Pintail.

Our specialty, however, is to develop fabrics that suit particular technical and budget specifications.
