Superb re-edition of a Roman Statue, called “Venus statue with Dolphin “(1 AC), exhibited in the Milan archaeological Museum. The Roman statuary Art is very distinctive, compared to the Greek style. However, it definitely finds it origin in Etruscan, and more specifically Greek art. Nevertheless, Roman nature stands out among the imitation of these ancient styles, and gives to genuinely Roman artworks a realistic, powerful and practical character.
