Chen Xin was the very first artist we collaborated with on the design and making of an art inspired rug based on his original artwork and what a perfect partnership it turned out to be. We have expanded the collection of rug designs based on Xin’s artwork and we continue working with him on new designs.
Chen Xin graduated from Akademie der Bildenden Künste München in Germany with a MA of liberal arts in 1999. He has spent the years since travelling between Beijing and Munich giving his undivided attention to creating his art and exhibiting both locally and internationally. Xin expresses the reality of our modern society in his work through his unique artistic language, reflecting excitement, anxiety, confusion and most importantly his soul.
