Native to NZ. A small rounded, open branched bushy shrub. Small green leaves with serrations. Early Spring there is masses of white to lilac flowers. Prefers sun to semi shade, well drained moist alkaline soil. Prune and feed after flowering. Tolerates coastal conditions. Hardy. Evergreen.
