Your culinary talents are about to take a major step forward with the help of the Meteor Cast Iron Firepit by Hergóm. Constructed in Spain at their own foundry, the Meteor Firepit is made using a heavy-duty casting. Each product is then carefully assembled before being coated with a durable high temperature coating specially formulated for outdoor products. All the baking surfaces are then enamelled, providing you with a health and safe cooking surface, the enamelling also enables the surfaces to be easily cleaned.
The outer ring is made of four optional cast iron segments, that can be customised. You can combine two griddles, and two grills, or four off one option; whatever suits yours needs. When the Meteor Firepit is lit, they quickly reach the temperature for cooking, and maintain it for a reasonable period of time, due to the thermal inertia of iron. You will quickly discover how the Meteor Firepit with it’s constant and homogeneous heat brings out the aromas and nuances of all your favourite foods.
After all the cooking is done, sit back, close your eyes and listen to the crackling of real fire wood, as you experience a pleasant radiant warmth.

- Hergóm
From the beginning Hergóm has gained success and experience in developing wood and biomass heating products, focusing on natural fuels through research, development, and improvement of the efficiency on their whole range. Following that principle they have developed some of the most efficient cast iron heat exchangers in the market today, with a secondary combustion system that minimizes particle emissions, to make their range of wood burning stoves among the cleanest burning in the world.
Casting in their own foundry allows them to control the entire production process of their fireplaces. Hergóm carries out and guarantees the full production process, including design, casting, right through to the finished product. In the production process Hergóm only uses carefully selected materials and components to guarantee optional durability, reliability and performance.
