Ventilation: HighFlow™ Cavity Battens (Patented) are designed to provide wall cavities with superior ventilation to solid or square members. Exceeding E2/AS1(NZ) standards, and compliant for Condensation Management Requirements of NCC 2025, HighFlow™ Battens reduce the risk of moisture buildup in the frame, reducing mould and creating healthier indoor environments.

Drainage: HighFlow™ Battens offer drainage away from the wall frame, and are designed with a bevelled edge to support this. This acts as a further reduction to moisture buildup in the wall cavity.

Structural Integrity: HighFlow™ Battens are constructed from High Strength Engineered LVL Timber, meaning they are able to support themselves without need for further framing requirements such as nogging. This leads to faster installation on worksites, material savings on projects and ease of installation.

Range of Sizes: HighFlow™ 70 x 35 Battens are suitable for use in all wind regions throughout Australia (up to C4 Cyclonic Wind). For lower wind classifications (up to N3), the 50 × 35 mm HighFlow™ Project option provides the same ventilation and drainage performance in a lighter structural format — offering project efficiency and material optimisation without compromising compliance or quality.
