The HighFlow Cavity Batten is a Patent Pending structural solution for cladding fixing. The Highflow Cavity Batten, meets E2/AS1 standards, exceeding 1500mm2/ lineal metre of ventilation with 20mm grooves on both sides. HighFlow Cavity battens are also compliant with proposed condensation management requirements of NCC 2025 (Climate Zone 6-8). This batten enhances insulation properties of the wall frame, curbs moisture buildup, and features a bevelled edge for drainage away from the frame. Serving as a structural element, HighFlow eliminates the need for additional framing provisions and can be spaced according to cladding manufacturers' specifications. As an Structural Timber Product, HighFlow Battens can be secured to with both nails and screws, providing flexibility to the installer’s preference

Ventilation: HighFlow Cavity Battens (Patent Pending) are designed to provide wall cavities with superior ventilation to solid or square members. Exceeding E2/AS1(NZ) standards, and compliant for proposed Condensation Management Requirements of NCC 2025, HighFlow Battens reduce the risk of moisture buildup in the frame, reducing mould and creating healthier indoor environments.

Drainage: HighFlow Battens offer drainage away from the wall frame, and are designed with a bevelled edge to support this. This acts as a further reduction to moisture buildup in the wall cavity.

Structural Integrity: HighFlow Battens are constructed from High Strength Engineered LVL Timber, meaning they are able to support themselves without need for further framing requirements such as nogging. This leads to faster installation on worksites, material savings on projects and ease of installation.
