About the Designer



For more than 30 years Lapalma of Italy has been manufacturing furniture for the modern home and for the contract market, based on the principles of modern design. Each component of the design has clear proportions that aim to produce a universal product that will last forever.

Functionals elements and rational aesthetics are combined in a way that pays attention to small details, resulting in objects that create a peaceful atmosphere. Natural materials like wood from controlled plantations, leather, metal, wicker, and glass are utilised. All the products derive from continual research on materials and mechanisms and are engineered and developed in the plant near Padova, which is certified ISO 9001.

This combination of modern design and refined engineering processes has resulted in a product range that has attracted many international design awards including International Interior Design Awards, Good Design, Japan; Interior Innovation, Cologne and Restaurant, and Bar Design Awards. The Lapalma style creates a refined and functional room.
