Leva Table Lamp by Leucos

The Leva LED Desk Lamp was designed by Iosa Ghini in 2012. The Leva Desk Lamp from Leucos Lighting is a highly adjustable task lamp finished in rich beech wood and detailed with natural steel hinges inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci designs. The LED light source is shielded with an opaline diffuser and controlled by a high-low switch on the Leva body. The light produced by Leva's LEDs is smooth and uniform, and can be completely customized by simply raising or lowering the arm. Provides direct illumination. Ships with standard steel base.

“It really seems that the light source is still a reminder of the origins of things. Even if it no longer illuminates the family circle, dispersed and multiplied, it is still the sign of a privileged intimacy, attributes a particular value to things, creates shadows, invents presences ” Jean Baudrillard, Le système des objects, 1968.
