Fully open, louvre blades are close to horizontal. This means they provide very little resistance to the air entering through the window opening. In effect, you get twice as much ventilation as you would through the same sized sliding window or double-hung window.

Louvres can be incorporated into houses and commercial buildings in a range of ways to provide additional ventilation when required. Louvres can be supplied in aluminium, timber or glass and powder coated to match the joinery.
