MaxiDakar is a stair nosing profile made of Maxi, exclusive to Spanish manufacturer Emac®. Maxi is a raw material that comes from the WPC (Wood Plastic Composites) family and is suitable for commercial and residential environments, both inside and out.

Its striated surface increases the value of slip resistance compared to all other stair nosing options available, making this a much safer option. This has been tested under the DIN51130 standard. The MaxiDakar joins technology, sustainability, durability, beauty and security in just one product. Available in 4 colour options to compliment your choice of tile.

These step nosing’s can also be used as a swimming pool edge detail and is a far less expensive option than installing traditional pool coping tiles. The Maxidakar are UV resistant, have excellent slip resistance and the profile is installed using the same method as any other tile trim profile.
