New York in Metallics Rug
In New York Jenny has taken shapes and motifs from buildings around the famous city and created her own interpretation of the Art Deco style. The high and low pile heights along with the luster of the pure silk create a three dimensional effect enhancing the design elements.
The Art Deco style, which emerged in the 1920’s, is Jenny’s favourite period in design including architecture, jewellery and furniture. After visiting New York in 2012 Jenny was inspired to create her own original Art Deco designs.
