Roche Bobois celebrates a design icon: the OVALIA armchair, created by Danish designer Henrik Thor-Larsen in 1968.

A true contemporary reinterpretation, this 2026 edition offers new customization possibilities, with six exclusive colors for the shell, a wide selection of fabrics, as well as a footrest and coffee table specially designed to complement the armchair.

Ovalia also benefits from extensive work on comfort, including a newly angled backrest, a seat with elastic webbing suspension, and an integrated headrest for a more natural and even more enveloping experience.

Designed as an immersive, private space, the armchair features a discreet magnetic system that allows a smartphone to be attached inside the shell, making it possible to enjoy audio or video content in an immersive and secluded environment.

An exclusive medallion bearing the designer’s name and the date of this edition authenticates each Ovalia.
