These highly sought-after hardwood timbers are unique and rare. They are typically made up of Jarrah, Ironbark and other Royal Australian hardwood species brought into NZ over 50 years ago for use on wharf and bridge structures. 

These beams are historical and timeless pieces, sure to impress in any setting. Natural or sandblasted finish, where the authenticity and beauty of old timber can be brilliantly brought to life.

Utilised indoors or out. Suited for residential, architectural, civil and public space applications, as well as any setting that suits long-lasting natural character or requires a subtle or bold statement feature.

Performance

Not ideal to be highly worked due to density and rarity, although an array of options and liaison with Interlink will ensure the best suitability and selection for any application.

Generally for non-structural use and often 'designed around' to ensure quality incorporation with new manufactured building materials.   

Numerous finishes by sand and/or water blasting, wire brush or disc grinding, or left as is to show natural weathering and original timber growth.

Localised weathering can be expected mid to long term, forever enhancing the surrounds and truly re-homing these historic timbers in new settings of their own to see out their remaining decades.
