Sengu Table by Cassina

A dining table design inspired by the rite of reconstruction of Japanese shrines, a contemporary furniture that celebrates conviviality through a poetic dialogue between different materials.

Sengu Table is an almost monumental piece of furniture, which celebrates conviviality through a poetic dialogue, placing the accent on the union of different materials that together express an important visual tactility.

The table, oval or round, is characterized by a solid wood structure with an oval leg connected by one or two crosspieces to the two cylindrical legs. The top is juxtaposed in the same wood essence as the structure - Canaletto walnut, natural oak or black stained oak - or combined with a strong cylindrical column, available in a selection of colored marbles or ceramics.

It is also possible to add a Lazy Susan in glazed ceramic to the round version; this revolving central top is another important reference to the tradition of the Asian world.
