The Sentei table arises from a desire to create a sculptural piece. Three cylinders joined together and angled at 120° form the base which opens outwards and seems to rise forth from the floor, just as a threestemmed tree stump rises forth from the ground.
Nature and artifice together in an object that is both complex and simple, where the interplay of solid and empty produces a base that is sculptural yet light, designed yet seemingly random.
