Series 8 Induction Cooktop 80cm by Bosch

More freedom for your pots with FlexInduction.
Whether you are using one pot or several, thanks to FlexInduction by Bosch, you have the freedom of choice. As induction heats the pot base and not the hob itself, you can cook on any area of the hob surface you like. You can use your cooktop like a conventional induction hob with separate cooking zones or connect it up at the touch of a button. This is how you gain additional space, for example in order to position large cookware, e.g. a roasting pan, wherever you like.

PowerBoost: extra added power!
Extra added power: The improved PowerBoost function in our induction cooktops adds even more power to speed up the cooking process. For example, you can now boil 2 litres of water almost three times as fast as on a conventional glass-ceramic cooktop.

Cooking like a chef.
MoveMode makes cooking fully intuitive and comfortable. In the past, you had to adjust the power level if you had just boiled your soup at level 9, let it cook at level 5 and now wanted to simmer it at level 1,5. Now, MoveMode does the job for you. Activating MoveMode divides the cooking zone into three different areas with pre-set power levels. All you have to do is to move the pot from the front area of the zone, where the food is boiled, to the middle, where the food is cooked, and to the back area, where it continues to simmer.

Controlling the cooktop made easy.
If you move a pot from one cooking zone to another when cooking, the temperature level does not need to be individually adjusted. As the new cooking zone adopts the old settings such as cooking heat and time – all it takes is the touch of a button to confirm.

Stores your control settings.
If you turn off the cooktop it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched of within a short time again the former settings are still available.

Faster cooking, reduced energy consumption. This is Induction.
Induction cooktops generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and more convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, an induction cooktop brings two litres of water to a boil approximately twice as fast as a glass-ceramic cooktop, which also saves a great deal of energy.

  • DirectSelect Premium: Direct, simple selection of the desired cooking zone, power and additional functions.
  • FlexInduction Zone: Get more flexibility by combining the cooking zones into one big zone for placing small pots and large cookware.
  • PerfectCook: the sensor prevents overcooking and boiling over by precise controlling of the cooking temperature.
  • PerfectAir sensor: Automatic control of ventilation settings for maximum performance.
  • PowerBoost: Up to 50% more power for faster heating.
