TRENZSEATER is currently a design leader in the New Zealand market for furniture and interior design, specializing in furniture which is designed and manufactured in New Zealand, along with a large portfolio of international brands that we import and distribute throughout New Zealand, including Andrew Martin, Halo Est., Eichholtz, Luxy, Wilkhahn to name a few distinguished brands.

TRENZSEATER is a New Zealand furniture and interior design company, a family-owned business run by brothers Ben and Hamish Lewis. TRENZSEATER was established formally in 2004 through a vision Ben had to fulfil a niche in the market for tailor-made luxury furniture, a concept that gave clients exposure to a range of product which covered furniture, drapery, blinds, wallpaper, bed linen and accessories, all within the same store. This concept quickly established TRENZSEATER as the source for a complete solution for interiors, demonstrating TRENZSEATER commitment to offering the very finest of product for your home.

Our inspiration for creating TRENZSEATER came from our grandfather, whose company D.A. Lewis & Co. manufactured furniture for many large retailers throughout New Zealand for over 70 years now. It was the foundation of growing up amongst a business such as his that lead to our enthusiasm for furniture and interior design.

In addition to supplying the finest product, we developed a comprehensive full interior design service for our clients who increasingly wanted our expertise to complete full projects for them to give their homes our distinct, signature look. This service has earned TRENZSEATER a renowned reputation within the industry for detailing some of the finest residential and commercial properties and has recently been internationally recognised for its interior design work through the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review competition for the second year in a row, along with also being awarded an Honourable Mention in the renowned International Design Awards (IDA) this year.

TRENZSEATER also offers a contract division for commercial projects, a specific identity that has been tailored exclusively to entertain both commercial and hospitality projects both in New Zealand and overseas. The TRENZSEATER Contract Division is an obvious answer to the markets growing demand for a supplier who has the capacity and capabilities to entertain small to large projects.

To complement the foundations Trenzseater built in its Christchurch showroom, the opening of our new store in Auckland at 80 Parnell Road was established to service the tremendous growing demand we were receiving from clients in Auckland, where clients needed a space to view our extensive collection of product and discuss their options for their interiors.
