Arflex Strips Sofa

At the end of the 60s, the architect Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with her sofa seating system Strips. Its low blocky form was a complete departure from the furniture that came before it and was a pioneer in the use of polyurethane foam and in the concept of sectional seating.

Even now after 50 years the design continues to inspire designers like Patricia Urquiola who’s hugely successful Tufty Time sofa is a homage to Boeri’s design. With its softly structured look made up of a series of 31.5cm squares (like a block of chocolate) Strips anchors any room while offering exceptional comfort.
