Thought from the artist:For me, these Tondo paintings represent myself and my painting practice over the years. My painting and myself being so connected. Visual elements such as the nova, circles, a fern leaf, droplets of gesso, gold and silver leaf represent aspects of my life, my thoughts and my painting practice.

Each Tondo is a celebration of our natural environment, the native bush, the oceans. I choose to represent my ideas in the abstract, as in this way the viewer is able to interpret what they see in the paintings, to their own experience of the world
