​The Prime Signature is the next step up from the Prime, which took the world by storm 2 years ago during its initial release. It features an upgraded JMW 3D-10 Reference arm in a “metallic black” gloss finish with Nordost Reference wire. The chassis consists of an aluminium plate sandwiched between a composite material for improved dampening.

The VPI Prime Signature is the upgraded version of the Prime and it is worth every penny. A much more substantial physical presence and this is borne out in the sound. It is bigger, deeper and more “planted”. The soundstage is wider and deeper and you hear the improvements immediately. It also looks fantastic with the more substantial chassis with the stainless steel sandwiched between the black stippled mdf layers.

The business owner John Tom first started with the company in 1987 while completing a Bachelor of Property degree at Auckland University. Although John worked in the Property field for a short time, his love and passion for music and HiFi brought him back to Paulmoney HiFi where he eventually bought out the company in 2005.

The focus for John is on high-end quality products that we usually see from countries such as Canada, Germany, Denmark and the US.
