Wool Blend Wall Insulation

Terra Lana's wall insulation is perfect for retrofitting in older buildings and offers outstanding performance in new structures.

Wall insulation is usually sold in standard widths designed to fit between studs spaced at 600mm or 400mm and lengths designed to fit a 2.4m to 2.7m stud height.  The lengths are folded in half into bale packaging and can be easily torn across their width to fit between nogs and dwangs.  The specific length ensures there is minimal wastage and eliminates the need to install two pieces of insulation in one hole.

Alternatively, if the studs spacings are variable, insulation can be supplied in roll widths suitable to fit between noggings/dwangs, bottom plate and top plate. i.e. the insulation is a roll that runs horizontally.  In this case the insulation is hand torn to form pieces that fit between the studs.  We manufacture a standard width that is designed to fit noggings and dwangs spaced at 800mm centres.
