How to choose brown finishes for a New Zealand project

• Durability: Match wear resistance to the area. Commercial spaces, rental properties and busy family homes need tougher surfaces.
• Moisture and cleaning: Check suitability for bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and covered outdoor areas.
• Compliance: For commercial and multi-unit projects, confirm fire rating, slip resistance, acoustic data and supplier documentation early.
• Lead times: Imported tiles, stone slabs and specialist wall finishes may need earlier ordering than standard paint or hardware.
