HB1240 Recessed Part Blind Box

The HB1240 Part Blind Box Extrusion is a blind system with sleek flush mounting to the ceiling gib (10mm or 13mm), primarily for automated roller blinds and screens. Similar to the HB1220 Full Box Extrusion, the HB1240 is useful where space is tight, and a 120mm internal ceiling cavity is not available.

The HB1240 is sold in 3m lengths in a raw finish only.

All Halliday + Baillie blind box extrusions are sold in specific lengths. We do however supply these lengths 80mm longer than the stated purchase length. The additional amount is to cover any damage to ends from the cutting process and to allow 25-40mm at either end to hold or jig the extrusion for either powder coating or anodising. We strongly recommend re-cutting ends to provide a clean finish before colouring and/or before installation.

Materials: Aluminium, raw unfinished. Raw extrusion can be powder coated or custom anodised by your preferred supplier. We recommend that clients cut to size on site before any finishing is undertaken.

No end caps are available for this product. Blinds and any automation mechanisms not included. If specifying for manual blinds, the cover flap will need to be made approximately 30mm shorter at each end to allow for cord access. This is the responsibility of the client.
