Light Suede finish High Pressure Laminate, this panel has a multiply birch core. Excellent for durable, exposed edge-grain cabinetry. A favourite with joiners, Italia HPL is strong with an excellent hard-wearing surface.

With moisture resistant properties, clashing is not needed in many situations. This product is a more cost effective option than the HPL Premium range.

Suitable for vertical surfaces only:

Limitations on Use

  • Not suitable for horizontal surfaces such as benchtops, desks, tabletops
  • The 'Italia' range is not as scratch resistant as the HPL Premium range
  • It is important to note the this product is a 'panel' laminate, and therefore not guaranteed in high wear bench-top or exterior situations
  • It is the users responsibility to protect the exposed edge grain with a suitable protective finish

Plywood is a natural product that can be affected by changes in weather conditions: moisture and temperature. Temperature variation may cause internal stresses causing previously flat sheets to bow. Precautions are taken to minimise this effect. However, once the plywood has left the warehouse Plymasters cannot guarantee sheets to remain flat unless fastened. This is particularly important where free standing kitchen/cabinet doors are concerned. When storing panels, stack with enough support to prevent sagging. Cover the pallet to protect top and edges.
