Pull Handles

• Kitchen cabinet handles can be used on cupboards, drawers, and even on the fridge. Along with the functional role, they are also important visual elements of the whole setting, enhancing and accentuating its style. 
• Cupboard handles for the bathroom can be installed on various components, including flush tanks or bathroom drawers. 
• Pull handles for doors are typically bigger than other types. However, standard pull handles can also be installed on the doors if the style requires a specific design. 

This type features a pull fitted into a round rose. It offers a timeless appeal that can easily fit different styles and decor schemes. 

The style of this pull handle design is more on the traditional side. It's fit for both residential and commercial use - some models also come with embedded "push" and "pull" directions. Pull handles on a backplate can be installed on single as well as double doors, internally and externally. 

As the name says, this type features two pieces that fit back-to-back on either side of the door. Its application is broad but ideally suited for commercial use, on entrances or internal doors. Back to back pull handles are especially convenient for use inside restaurants, bars, and similar busy spaces.  

A bolt featured on this type keeps the handle attached to the opposite side of the door, and secured firmly in place. 

Face fix pull handles emphasise noticeable screw fixings that can serve as decorative accents, too. 

These sliding door gear elements are designed specifically for application on doors that move from side to sides, such as gliding or pocket doors. Standard designs include flush pull and ring pull models.

• Flush pull handles allow the panels to bypass each other smoothly.
• Ring pull handles offer a comfortable and firm grip with a hoop attached to a plate. 

• Solid timber: Wooden handles are durable and natural, perfect for achieving organic aesthetics in design. They can be used in their genuine appearance or coated with a variety of finishes. On average, timber handles are more suited for internal use, especially in humid areas.  
• Glass: Often a material of choice for designer door handles, glass bears an ornate quality with a sophisticated feel. Its downside is fragility in comparison to metals and wood. 
• MDF Handles: Medium Density Fibreboards are a durable and cost-effective alternative to solid wood. Like genuine timber, it's better suited for internal use. 
• Plastic: Affordable material with antibacterial properties that also allows design versatility.
• Aluminium levers: Aluminium is resistant to corrosion and lightweight, with a distinct dark metallic tone. Paired with a brushed finish, it works great for commercial and industrial applications. Aluminium is a convenient solution for external use, even in areas with varying weather conditions. 
• Stainless steel: Stainless steel is an efficient and durable choice, convenient, low-maintenance, and rust-resistant. It's a strong alloy, hard to break, suitable for places that need an additional layer of security to provide peace of mind.
• Brass and copper: Brass handles, alone or with a fashionable copper finish, boast a warm appeal with a dash of luxurious flair. Although recognised as staples of traditional interior design, these materials are back in style and often used to accentuate modern decor projects. Copper is moderately resistant to viruses and germs, making it a great solution for handles and similar fixtures in traffic-heavy areas. 

A handle should suit the function as much as the style of the space. 

• Drawer pulls with long, clean lines are ideal for contemporary interior schemes. They provide added stability with a more comfortable grip.
• Bin pulls offer a vintage look and feel that fits best at the top of a drawer.
• Finger pulls are smaller in size and ideal to use on a row of small cabinets or drawers.
• Extra-long pulls are designed for use with appliances with heavy doors, such as refrigerators or ovens.

A soft piece of cloth is typically sufficient for regular maintenance. Occasionally, a more thorough cleaning may be performed using a mixture of vinegar and salt. A toothbrush can be included for reaching nooks and corners.

To ensure longevity, pull handles should be operated with care. Rough pulling, and similar actions that can lead to damages, are not recommended.

Door pulls belong to the most frequently used items in the home. For that reason, it's strongly recommended to look for a quality item with a durable surface that won't chip or wear off quickly. 

Replacing old hardware often requires specific designs and dimensions that will properly conceal all existing spots and holes. Using pulls with backplates is a convenient solution for such cases, that will also elevate the look of the whole feature.
