A striking urban proposal at 333 Kent Street, harmonizing historical context with contemporary architecture, featuring a distinctive east-west void that enhances visual connectivity and urban engagement in Sydney's historic warehouse district.

Design Excellence Competition – in collaboration with COX Architecture, Kent Street Hotel and Residences.

The competition site is located on the edge of the city within the historic Sydney warehouse district. The proposal navigates this historical context while exploring large-scale relationships within the city.

At an urban and architectural scale, the proposal includes a void that cuts east-west through the tower. This provides a legible urban gesture and visual connection through the site, breaking up the existing city wall between Darling Harbour and the CBD.
