Katie Scott from Sticks+Stones Design has brought home two awards at the 2022 NKBA Excellence in Design Awards for this trendy kitchen. It's not hard to see why this creative space won Katie the Visual Impact award and Creative Excellence Kitchen Design award.

Katie has used a limited colour palette with a mix of interesting materials, from a woodgrain melamine in Tahoe Walnut, a solid Walnut bench, a reeded and curved island in stark white and a hero splashback in a travertine tile. The drama of the copper and travertine is softened with curves and the warm tones of Tahoe Walnut melamine on the vertical cabinetry doors. Prime Stone in Golden Bay features as the benchtop surface, balancing the textures and materials used throughout.
