Barfoot & Thompson

Website

Barfoot & Thompson are New Zealand’s largest privately owned, non-franchised real estate company, based in Auckland for over 90 years.

They required a complete refurbishment of the old Auckland Club. The existing building needed the services and the structure upgraded, which allowed for design opportunities to enhance the structure and explore alternative ways to present the interior fit out. The key to the design was the inter-connecting feature staircase which has been retained from the old Auckland Club fit out, set against newly cut voids in the floors, glass floors and bridges.
