Meadowbank Garage and Front Entrance

The existing 1940’s state house needed a face lift and when friends came to visit after the works had been completed, they drove past, not recognising the place. With a new garage and front entrance excavated partially under the exiting plastered brick house, the challenge was to complete the works without damaging the existing structure, while the family continued to live in their home. A reconfiguring of the existing bedrooms also allowed for the existing bathroom to be extended and redecorated with new tiles and fixtures. The new front entrance and stairwell provided an open and inviting entrance into the owners home.
