A Refined Architectural Statement
Over the past six months, Alumac Industries has proudly partnered with Sydney-based Giles Tribe Architects on the construction work for a bespoke Bronte residence, a beautifully resolved example of modern coastal architecture.
The project showcases how custom aluminium architectural elements can bring sharp, durable detailing to a minimalist palette, enhancing both form and function. Working directly with the architect allowed our team to refine every component for seamless integration and long-term performance.
Custom Architectural Metalwork
Alumac supplied a range of bespoke aluminium products, all designed and fabricated in our Sydney facility. Each element was precision-engineered to complement the building’s clean lines and coastal aesthetic while providing resilience against the harsh coastal environment.
- Centurion Window Shrouds: Powder-coated aluminium shrouds add depth and definition to the façade, framing the upper-level windows with crisp shadow lines and subtle dimension.
- Slat Screen Shrouds: Abodo Timber Cladding provide a balance of light control and privacy while maintaining the home’s contemporary rhythm.
- Custom Entry Gate: A sleek, vertically finned aluminium gate creates a strong visual entrance statement, tying into the architectural language of the façade.
- Downpipe Shrouds: Concealed aluminium covers provide a discreet and tidy finish to roof drainage points, ensuring continuity in design.
- Roof-Mounted Planter Boxes: Fabricated from marine-grade aluminium and integrated into the parapet, these planters bring a touch of greenery to the rooftop terrace, designed for longevity and ease of maintenance.
Precision, Performance and Partnership
This project represents the kind of collaborative relationship Alumac Industries strives for, working hand-in-hand with architects to bring creative visions to life through quality Australian fabrication.
Giles Tribe Architects has expressed its satisfaction with the finished results, noting the precision detailing and consistency of finish across each product. The success of this build underscores the value of early design integration and local manufacturing expertise.
A Showcase of Australian Design and Craftsmanship
The Bronte residence stands as a testament to modern Australian design, where craftsmanship meets architectural intent. With its combination of timber cladding, soft coastal tones and clean aluminium detailing, the home exemplifies how custom metalwork can elevate both aesthetics and performance.
Alumac Industries is proud to have contributed to a project that not only reflects exceptional architectural standards but also highlights the capabilities of our in-house fabrication, powder-coating, and design support teams.
