Buff – a modern nail salon in the heart of Brighton – is a place of ritual, not errand. Beyond the blue door on busy Church Street, a discreet hallway leads to a subterranean sanctuary where the eye is immediately drawn to a sculpted vaulted ceiling referencing forms of the hand. Cleverly designed elements enhance the salon experience while providing a level of functionality and hygiene, an experience to be savoured, not rushed.
