Exciting New Flooring Designs for Etu Pasifika

Etu Pasifika is an integrated General Practice clinic and Whana Ora service, providing a holistic approach to healthcare.  Staff speak a range of Pacific languages including Tongan, Samoan, Fijian, Niuean and Tokelauan.

Their new Christchurch premises have been designed to provide a relaxed, culturally sensitive environment for their clients, and this included some very challenging and complex flooring features for us at Floorpride Mandeville Street.

The flowers shown here are one such example.  Two different shades of wood look sheet vinyl have been carefully laid to create a striking, pacific-themed effect.

Another area shows a dramatic effect created by different colours of vinyls inlaid in a large swirl.  Our installers had to make a template to accommodate the design, which is created from various coloured vinyls with welded joins.

In the carpeted areas, the distinctive design has been made by laying carpet tiles in a herring bone pattern.

There was a high degree of skill and craftmanship involved in this project, but our brilliant team of experienced installers stepped up and were more than equal to the task.  It was a great pleasure and privilege for all of us at Floorpride Mandeville Street to be involved in such a challenging and worthwhile project.
