Lightbulb Learning Childcare, Mount Wellington

Website

Hamlin Heights – a new early learning centre strategically sited at 3 Pacific Rise, Mt Wellington, is at the forefront of a growing trend – to include a separately tenanted café alongside a childcare, creating a multi-use building that becomes a sociable community meeting place.

The building is part of a master-planned, integrated development that is focused on a quality lifestyle for residents and businesses. We have designed an innovative and sustainable building that integrates the exterior, interior and landscape features, achieving a holistic integrity.

This development tenanted on a prominent site in a growing suburb, is being developed by rrr Ltd.  Building contractors are LEP Construction, a company with extensive experience in building early learning centres.

The circa 1900m2 site is elevated with excellent aspect and all-day sun.  Well-planned access and 30 dedicated car parks simplify daily use of the centre. Planned for 100 children, the building is above ministry regulations. All rooms are naturally ventilated with day-lighting well above the building code.  Commercial sliding glass doors provide easy indoor-outdoor flow.

The early learning centre and café will serve a large catchment including a new housing development. The area – with handy motorway and public transport options, located near Mt Wellington and Penrose – will attract a demographic of owner-occupiers who will form a part of a high calibre community.
