Hardwearing flooring which is at-tractive, easy to clean and modern from Polyflor’s Expona Design range was recently installed at the busy Klein Architects offices in central Auckland.

Polyflor’s Expona Design “Dark Grey Concrete” was chosen for the new Klein office fit out. The flooring was fitted by Comfloor.
Ricky Lam, Senior Associate at Klein Architects commented.

“The designer wanted to delineate the main reception and staff break out areas from the main studio workspace and chose to do this via a change in flooring. Dark-coloured carpet lines the main studio floor, and to offset this, Klein was searching for a flooring solution that offered texture, variation and light reflectivity. Polyflor Expona Design ‘Dark Grey Concrete’ was chosen, as it has a similar visual texture and colour as polished concrete while retaining its integrity as a unique aesthetic. Part of the surface is glossy, hence it reflects a fair amount of daylight into space. The tile format means individual modules can be easily replaced if damaged.

In the end, this product plays a part in a sophisticated and welcoming space that is very much in keeping with the Klein branding."
